Community Partner Spotlight: Connect4
Homeward Bound’s Thunderbird Family Village Unveils Renovated STEAM room after the generous remodel completed by IIDA.
Meet our community partners, Connect4/IIDA generously selected Homeward Bound to receive a remodel of our STEAM room on campus to benefit the kids in our Youth Programs. In addition they updated elements of our Teen Room by keeping the original design done by Fiesta Bowl. Integral to the success is IIDA’s construction partner, Stevens Leinweber Construction, who was able to get all of the subcontractors’ labor donated. IIDA-member connections in the design industry, made it possible to get all of the materials provided. These generous contributions have allowed IIDA to provide new flooring, cabinetry, paint, appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, furniture, plants and computers. This space provides a curated new home for the teens at Homeward Bound, as well as space for the community to come together to learn and grow.
