Workforce Development
Homeward Bound’s Workforce Development team provides in-house assessments and develops an individualized employment plan with clients.
This includes support with resume assistance, job search, interviewing skills, mock interviews, and connecting candidates with hiring events.
We collaborate with community partners to provide education and certifications such as GED completion and high-demand skills for higher wage-earning capacity.
The Library
Our Library classroom offers afterschool and summer activities for school age children ages 5 to 12. Our program centers around Positive Youth Development to engage youth and their families, empower them to develop skills, foster healthy relationships and access programs that enhance their social and emotional skills. Core focus areas are life skills, health/wellness, STEAM activities and civic engagement.
Teen Center
Our teen center opens up a world of opportunity for our youth ages 12-17. In this space, teens are offered programs and activities that focus on health & wellness, career building, tutoring, and the opportunity to connect with their peers in a laid back and fun setting.

“When our child was three months old, we were seeking a safe, supportive and education minded school for her to attend full time. After researching multiple centers, we landed on Strong Foundations. Boy, are we glad we did! Strong Foundations has helped our child meet and exceed growth milestones. Today, at three years old, she is thriving and happy!”
