An Update From Homeward Bound

“Safe At Home”

More recently, it’s a term we hear every day. But imagine if you didn’t have a safe place to call home? At Homeward Bound, we believe every family deserves to be together in a safe, healthy home, which is why we are committed to pivoting our programs to keep homeless families on the right track out of poverty.

Ms. Smith* had just completed her GED and obtained her dream job to get her life back on track- before everything came crashing down. When COVID-19 hit, her company was forced to furlough most of their staff, including Ms. Smith. This single mother of 3 was devastated and didn’t know how she was going to put food on the table or keep a roof over their heads. Unfortunately, stories like Ms. Smith will continue to unfold, but Homeward Bound is dedicated to helping those who need us now more than ever. We recognize that this pandemic is going to create long-lasting challenges for all of us, and we are prepared to do our part to support homeless families through uncharted territory. Thank you for your continued support!

OUR COMMUNITY

THANK YOU for your continued support of Homeward Bound

With health and wellness for staff and families our biggest concern, we are unable to accept used in-kind donations at this time. To bring much-needed items to our families, we have created this AMAZON WISHLIST to be able to support homeless families from afar.

Did you Know?

Each volunteer hour is worth $25.43 to an organization? Without being able to host volunteers for more than 5 months, this adds up to be a loss of more than $8,500 since March. Let us know you’re still here for us with a $25.43 donation now!
