OPEN POSITIONS AT HOMEWARD BOUND

Receptionist/Case Aide

Responsible for providing operational support to client services including prescreening potential clients, assisting walk-ins, receiving all incoming phone calls, and scanning and/or setting up files.


Position Highlights

  • Required

    Ability to maintain professional boundaries and remain calm with callers who are in crisis

  • Required

    Minimum 1 year in a reception/administrative assistance capacity; multi-line phone experience

  • Required

    Minimum 1-year experience in social services or closely related field

  • Preferred

    Bilingual in English and Spanish

Community Resource Officer

Ensure security and safety of people and property on the Thunderbird Family Village (TFV) campus by patrolling areas on foot, staffing the security booth, and enforcing Homeward Bound rules and guidelines. Report on campus activity related to clients, staff, and visitors.


Position Highlights

  • Required

    Establish and maintain effective communication with clients who may have experienced domestic
    violence, homelessness, and/or related trauma

  • Required

    High school diploma or GED and 1+ year(s) experience handling client/customer/facility safety and security issues, or similar
    experience

  • Required

    Maintain strict standards of confidentiality regarding any information related to client families, visitors, staff, and agency operations.

  • Preferred

    Bilingual in English and Spanish, Certification in First Aid and CPR
