“I love to see my son every morning excited to go to school. It gives me peace of mind that my baby is in great hands, and if something were to occur they are well prepared."

"Strong Foundations is an amazing school and we have always been very pleased with the teachers, classrooms, lessons, administration, etc. I love how the teachers truly know my child and really care for her development. They communicate very well with us, including amusing, endearing, or noteworthy anecdotes. She is developing such strong social skills and self-awareness. I have learned too! It's a joy to observe her growing in resilience. We love having Strong Foundations as a partner in raising her!"

TIC

On 12/20/19 Homeward Bound was officially certified as a Trauma Informed Center by the Arizona Trauma Institute. We received organization-wide training and support for more than one year to become one of the first agencies in the state to receive the certification. With a constant eye to the future, we recognize that housing alone cannot solve the issue of homelessness and we must dig deeper into the individual’s past traumas to understand how to break the cycle.

Image
Innovation

We are dedicated to innovating in ways that strengthen and enrich the lives of individual families that we serve.

Leadership

We take leadership to address the root causes of poverty and mobilize our resources to get families on a pathway out of it.

Eye to the Future

We strive to grow and learn with an eye to the future so that we never lose momentum in delivering on our mission.
